Home/Social Entropy

Social entropy is a measure of the degree of disorder within a social system that can be correlated to its incapacity to do work or dysfunctionality. Social entropy implies the tendency of social networks and society in general, to break down over time, moving from cooperation and advancement towards conflict and chaos. As such it is a measure of the natural decay within a social system and the amount of resources that are required to maintain the system in a certain functional or coherent state.
