Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics states that: If two systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third, they are also in thermal equilibrium with each other. The Zeroth Law is a statement of equilibrium and it is this equilibrium through which we define and measure temperature, as that which ceases to flow between systems in thermal contact.
