Methodological naturalism is the idea that all scientific endeavors, hypotheses, and events are to be explained and tested by reference to natural causes and events. Methodological naturalism represents the philosophical assumptions that underlie scienti????fic methodology. This paradigm holds the assumption that all effects have natural causes. Simply put natural causes have natural effects, one can not refer to supernatural causes or events in a description of phenomena.
