Home/Nonlinear System

A nonlinear system may be defined as any system that defies the superposition principles of homogeneity and additivity. Meaning that the whole system in not equal to a summation of its parts and it may exhibit disproportionality between input and output over time. Nonlinear systems are a product of the interaction between the parts, where synergistic interactions add or subtract value from the whole organization. While positive feedback loops can strongly amplify or dampen down some phenomenon making the output disproportional to the input.
