Complex Projects

Home/Complex Projects

Complex projects are projects that involve many different subcomponents, both social and technical, interconnected on different levels that need to be coordinated over a prolonged period of time towards a uncertain objective. Complex projects often take place under changing, volatile environmental conditions, thus requiring an adaptive iterative approach. Examples may include large-scale urban renewal projects, military interventions and many forms of social and environmental programs.
